This special evening, starring Lou Villano and Ron Gartner, celebrates the musical legacies of two iconic entertainers: Paul Anka and Bobby Darin. Both artists made significant contributions to the world of pop and rock music, with hits that have stood the test of time.

Bobby Darin was more than a singer, he was a songwriter, teen idol, a nightclub showman, award winning movie star, TV show host, impressionist, and multi-instrument musician. They say he would have been bigger than Sinatra had he not died at the age of 37. His hits include: “Splish Splash,” “Dream Lover,” “Clementine,” “Beyond the Sea,” and “Mack the Knife.”

Paul Anka is a singer, nightclub and theatre performer, movie actor, and songwriter extraordinaire. His hits include: “Put Your Head on My Shoulder,” “Diana,” “You are My Destiny,” “The Times of Your Life,” and “My Way.” He is still performing and entertaining crowds today.

Darin and Anka knew each other. But they never performed together. Until now. The Dream Concert imagines what would have happened had some brilliant producer put Anka and Darin on the same stage, paying homage to these beloved entertainers and their greatest hits. Performed by talented showmen who recreate the sounds and styles of the two teen idols who became timeless stars of the entertainment industry.
